About Us Foundation News Foundation Events Our Mission Our Story Board of Directors On May 17, 2008, Cosentino’s Price Chopper will present a benefit concert for the Jennifer Ireland Foundation, hosted by the Blue Springs High School (BSHS) Soccer Alumni Association. Supported by (lead sponsor) Cosentino’s Price Chopper, (headline sponsors) Sports City, The Examiner, the Kansas City Wizards, the Blue Springs Journal, Blue Springs School District, and (sponsors) Clancy’s Café and Pub, St. Mary's Medical Center, Hanneman and Ward DDS, and Cavanaugh Pet Hospital, the concert will feature Liverpool - the Beatles tribute band - and Destination Go on stage at the BSHS Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:00pm. Other performers will include BSHS students and faculty. The goal of this blog is to "...show patients and families the other side of the relationship with their oncologist. Talking about some of our ups & downs, our strengths, our weaknesses & hopefully to allow patients to develop a stronger relationship with the men & women who are trying to help them with their battle with cancer." Additionally, we hope this blog becomes a resource for other cancer patients who want to obtain information about different diagnoses, different treatments. The Spring St. Louis Crawl for cancer will be June 7, 2008. Sign ups begin March 12th. The Jennifer Ireland Foundation will be one of 2 charities that will receive the proceeds. The 2nd Annual Jennifer Ireland Foundation Golf Tournament is planned for September 20th 2008 at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, MO. The 1st Annual Jennifer Ireland Foundation Golf Tournament was a huge success and was only 8 golfers short of a full field of 144. The Jennifer Ireland Foundation was one of several major beneficiaries of proceeds from the 1st Annual Crawl for Cancer in St. Louis. The event was held on August 4, 2007.
